Event Details

Every generation of youth struggles for self-expression that eventually defines its particular place in history.  So it was in post-war America as young people rebelled against authority figures and society in general.  Join The B-Sides, a Washington D.C.-based group of Smithsonian history scholars by day, rock ‘n’ roll musicians by night, as they host an evening of R&B, doo wop, and rock ‘n’ roll tracing the social causes that impacted the music of this decade.

Free parking at high school

This event is free due to the generous support from the City of Long Beach and ACLB sponsors.  If you reserve your seat, please honor your commitment to attend, as a reserved seat that goes un-filled, is a seat someone else might have really appreciated sitting in but couldn’t because the event was considered sold out.

Thank you for your consideration.
